Yes. The Integrated Email and Text module supports both channels from a single interface. You can send email, send SMS, or send a message through both channels at once. Recipient lists, tracking, and communication history work the same way regardless of the channel used.
Yes. SMS messages are delivered directly to members' mobile phones. Email messages go to whatever email address is on file in the member record, which many members read on their phones as well. For push notifications to the eMembership Member App, ask about the optional Member App module during your intro call.
Yes. Two-way SMS is supported. When a member replies to a text message, the response is captured in their communication history in eMembership. This enables dialogue, not just one-way broadcasts, which is useful for gathering quick responses to time-sensitive questions or confirming meeting attendance.
Recipient lists are built from any eMembership filter: employer, chapter, job category, card status, zone, member status, or any combination. Because lists pull live from the database, you never need to export or maintain a separate contact list. Members who are delinquent, inactive, or opted out are excluded automatically based on their current record status.
Every email and text message sent to or received from a member is logged automatically in the Communication History section of that member's record in eMembership. Staff can see the full outreach history (what was sent, when, whether it was opened, and any responses) without leaving the member profile.
Yes. eMembership integrates with Mailchimp for email and Twilio for SMS, which means you will need accounts with those services. However, you manage everything from within eMembership. You do not need to log into Mailchimp or Twilio separately to send messages, build lists, or review results. Your accounts are connected during the implementation process.
